We knew we were ready for another night at a
winery, and chose this location based on several reviews by other RV Harvest
Host members. Located in the Salem,
Oregon, vineyards famous for Pinot wines, we were not disappointed. And the host, Jeffrey Silva, was ever so
helpful and welcoming, as were his staff.

Besides being a beautiful location, we happened
to stay during a planned multi-winery tour event. Having just gotten settled before the visitors
started arriving, we chose to stay there and just do a tasting of the Arcane
Cellars wines. And, we were not
disappointed! What a great selection
from a winery self-identified as being a smaller operation. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right!
Our dogs also loved the location, with country
roads and open fields to explore after the event was over. Their only disappointment seemed to be the
fact that they were not able to find and catch the local mole leaving dirt
piles by the old barn...

We would highly recommend (four paws up) this winery to others,
and, particularly to other RV'ers using the HH system.
Looks like the dogs drank too much wine!

ReplyDeletewe never waste good wine on the dogs. They were in euphoria getting to roll is fresh, cool, green grass!
